March: Time Travel

If I wasn't in the arts, I would have ended up as a doctor or a scientist. While those might not sound like common bedfellows, to me, both involve exploring the unknown and a search for answers or, at least, a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Science comes into play in a lot of my writing (my one-act play Mission Complete, which was published last month, is a sci-fi drama with astronauts, aliens, and the question of justifiable murder), and a concept that has always fascinated me is time travel. I'm clearly not the only one interested in this as countless pieces deal with the concept. I've decided to spend the month of March looking at pilots in which time travel plays a significant component. First up is Timeless, an NBC drama that premiered this past October.
