Adaptations with Strong Female Leads

In honor of Wonder Woman finally coming out this summer, I decided to look at adaptations with a strong, female protagonist this July. First I'll be looking at David E. Kelley's 2010 unaired pilot of Wonder Woman, followed by Josh Whedon's 2006 Wonder Woman film. (The latter was never produced.) After that, I'm looking at two pieces based on books - the pilot of The Handmaid's Tale by Ilene Chaiken (based on the novel by Margaret Atwood) and Hidden Figures by Allison Schroeder & Theodore Melfi (based on the book by Margot Shetterly).
